A great English crime writer, writing an English crime novel that twists and turns like dodgems at the funfair at Brighton beach.
The idea of a stag night prank going wrong and turning into dastardly deeds kept me turning the pages over.
There was a time when I was losing interest but Peter James throws in some twist which saved it.
I grew to like the detective Grace and his sidekick. Easy reading.
